Student Device Program

Digital technology plays an important role in supporting student learning at Morialta Secondary College.

Our Student Device Program provides families with information about accessing devices for the 2027 school year, including school-supplied devices for eligible School Card students and our new Device Program Portal.

Morialta Secondary College will provide eligible year 7 and year 10 students who are approved for School Card with a school-owned device for use throughout their enrolment at the College.

Families wishing to be considered for a school-supplied device in 2027 must submit their School Card application by Wednesday 27 January 2027 to be eligible for the initial device distribution.

Applying for School Card in 2027

School Card applications open in January 2027. Families must apply through the SA Government School Card Scheme.
Families will initially be invoiced for the full cost of the device and accessories. Once the student’s 2027 School Card application is approved, the invoice will be credited in full.
If an application is unsuccessful, the College Finance Team will contact the family to discuss payment arrangements.

Before Receiving a Device

Parents/caregivers must complete the EdSmart School Card Device Terms and Conditions and, together with their student, read and sign the College ICT User Agreement.
All devices remain the property of Morialta Secondary College and must be returned when the student leaves the College.
AppleCare+ protection is included. Families may be responsible for repair or replacement costs where loss or damage is not covered by AppleCare+.
