Student agency and voice are at the heart of learning and culture at Morialta Secondary College. We value the power of agency in the classroom and provide opportunities for students to co-design learning that stretches their thinking. Authentic feedback processes designed within learning programs supports students to confidently evaluate their learning progress and make informed decisions to move their learning forward. Students have opportunities to provide valuable feedback to teachers and leaders about learning, engagement, and achievement, supporting the growth of Morialta Secondary College as a community of learners.

A culture of belonging is supported by student voice and leadership. Student councils play an important role in building our school as a community where every voice is heard and valued. Student representatives listen to their peers, share their ideas and opinions, and contribute to decision-making with teachers and leaders. Clubs and extracurricular activities are driven by students’ interests and provide a broad range of opportunities for students to build connections and develop personal and social capabilities.
